  • North Carolina Organics Recycling

    Maxton, NC

    North Carolina Organics Recycling is a food de-packaging and recycling plant serving some of the nation’s largest food manufacturers. They take off-spec and expired products, recycle the packaging, and use the food waste to produce compost or to produce energy through anaerobic digestion.

  • Magic City Acceptance Academy

    Homewood, AL

    Magic City Acceptance Academy (MCAA), the first LGBTQ+ affirming school in the Southeast, is a non-profit public charter school for grades 6-12. MCAA provides a brave and positive learning environment for students who often have a history of isolation from family and friends, being bullied, depression, non-affirming home environments, and learning disabilities.

  • Ag-Grid Energy

    Cohocton, NY

    Ag-Grid Energy is a minority and women owned waste-to-energy developer which partnered with Lent Hill Dairy Farm, a 172-year-old family owned-and-operated dairy farm located in rural Cohocton, NY, to install, and jointly own a 2-Megawatt anaerobic digester system onsite at the dairy farm operations. The project produces both heat and electricity for a local cheese co-op factory.

    AAC East is a start-up manufacturer of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC). AAC is LEED certified and offers numerous superior environmental and green building benefits, in particular when compared to traditional concrete. The facility is located in a Persistent Poverty County that has been designated as a priority for economic development in SC.
